Katherine A. England, M.S.Ed., is a mother, wife and high school history teacher living outside of Philadelphia, PA. Kate and her husband took on their most challenging roles, “mama” and “dada,” in July of 2014 and in April 2016 became parents to two boys under two. After Jackson was born in 2014 Kate began attending the Bryn Mawr Hospital breastfeeding support group for new moms. After meeting many fellow moms there she decided to start a Facebook group for local moms, which has grown to over 700 members. Between nursing Jackson for 16 months and now nursing her youngest, Hunter, she has spent over 630 days breastfeeding.
